Delete Windows Update service
start cmd.exe as an administrator
type and run: sc delete wuauserv

Start Registry Editor regedit.exe and navigate to:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WaaSMedicSvc
Delete the Start attribute from the registry.
